libprintsys software package provides printcap parser, helper for gnulprs printfilters, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libprintsys
libprintsys is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libprintsys package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libprintsys *
You will get with libprintsys package name, version, architecture and description in a table
